This document describes how Stepa Mobile FZE LLC handles information when you use Cleanup Storage: Sweep Cleaner on iOS. The app is designed to run entirely on your device — your photos, videos and contacts never leave it.
On-device processing
All similarity detection, duplicate grouping and video inspection happens locally on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device frameworks. We do not upload your photos, videos, screenshots or contacts to any server, ever.
When you delete items, they move to your iOS Photos “Recently Deleted” album and are permanently removed by iOS after 30 days, following Apple’s standard behavior.
Permissions we request
Photos: required to list and group duplicates. You can grant full access or Limited Library access; the app respects your choice.
Contacts: optional, used only by the contact-deduplication tool. Revokable at any time from iOS Settings.
Analytics and crash reporting
We collect aggregated, non-identifying usage events (for example, “duplicate scan finished”, “video compression succeeded”) and anonymized crash diagnostics so we can fix bugs and improve the cleanup engine.
Analytics never contain filenames, thumbnails, contact details or any content from your library.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. We receive only the validation receipt needed to unlock premium features on your account, not your payment details.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Your rights
Because the app does not upload your media, there is no central copy of your data to export or delete — it lives only on your device.
You can reset all local state by deleting the app. If you contacted us by email, you can request deletion of that correspondence at [email protected].
