This document describes how Stepa Mobile FZE LLC (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Telegram Channel & Group Hub on iOS. The app is a read-only catalog of public Telegram resources; it does not require a Telegram account.
Information we collect
Telegram Channel & Group Hub is designed to work without you signing in. We do not ask for your Telegram credentials, phone number, email or address book.
We collect aggregated, non-identifying analytics events — for example how often a category is opened, which language filter is active, whether search returned results. These events are used to improve the catalog and are not linked to your identity.
Crash diagnostics (device model, iOS version, stack trace) are sent to Apple and our crash reporter so we can fix stability issues.
How we use information
We use aggregated analytics to decide which catalog sections are worth expanding, to rank results, and to detect broken listings.
We use crash diagnostics exclusively to reproduce and fix bugs. We do not profile users or build advertising segments.
Third-party services
We use Apple App Store Connect for distribution and receipts; Apple’s privacy policy applies to that service.
We use a privacy-oriented analytics provider configured with IP truncation and no cross-app tracking identifiers.
Links to Telegram resources open in your Telegram app or in Safari — once you leave our app, Telegram’s policies apply.
Your choices
You can disable analytics entirely from Settings → Privacy inside the app. The catalog keeps working without analytics.
You can clear your local history (viewed rooms, saved filters) from Settings → History → Clear.
Retention
Aggregated analytics are retained for up to 12 months, then deleted. Crash logs are retained for up to 90 days.
Data stored on your device (history, saved filters) remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
